Our Fire & LIfe Safety Center consists of an interactive theater area which seats a classroom size group of children.  In this area, they watch a safety presentation on a 27" color television which is mounted in the corner above a built in electric fireplace.

There is a 7’ x 7’ fold out stage and a puppet window, which can both be used to open up the Fire & Life Safety Center to large groups of children and adults.

The kitchen area is positioned on the back wall of the theater area which allows for a demonstration to be viewable by an audience inside as well as and audience outside when the stage area is open.  It includes a "smoking" stove/oven which containes a smoke machine that fills the oven up with smoke.  On top of the stove, there is a frying pan which simulates a grease fire with flames and smoke. Children and adults are taught how to react to a kitchen fire.

A 911 phone is located in the kitchen area and is connected to control room.

A fire extinguisher is mounted in plain view near the kitchen.

The cabinet nearest to the stage door has an interactive sprinkler system mounted in it. This can be viewed from outside or inside.

The Interactive Bedroom is located in the front of the trailer. It has a 48" sliding window, which is used to exit the bedroom once it fills up with smoke. Children slide open the window, step out onto the landing, making this simulation safe and easy for all ages. A small bed is located in the bedroom on the opposite side of the room from the window. A heated door opens into the hallway.

The Control Room is located directly across from the entry into the unit.
